Some bits from today. A little help please with the ID of the lead artefact with bust, nad the bronze tool ? ? ? I have never seem a pin with the inside like this. Title: Re: My finds today Post by: Moncó on February 09, 2014, 03:59:58 PM Some nice finds there Monco well done, the lead item is an Alnage seal (though very big) but from which country or under which ruler is another question. ;) It does look like a cloth seal, and the look of the lead indicates it is quite old. Possibly North African, from the AL - Andalus period in the Iberian Peninsular, ( muslim / Islamic ocupancy ) from 711 Ad I think till late 14th century..
