Today no Romans, buttons, buckles, jewelry or sight of a coin... I don´t like overcleaning coins or artefacts, but if I don´t clean & protect this it will eventually rot away... If it were an old gate I'd say Hammerite but wouldn't think it would do your key much good. There is a wax type stuff that I've seen the fellas talking about and I think Tafflaff (Rob) sells it.
