Found on the beach today , anyone know what the cross symbol means on the right side of the hallmarks, date letter is year 2000, London assay office, hope the photos ok thanks.

I think that you may have answered your question yourself - it just seems to have allowed them to have put the date as 2000 in addition to the year mark.  Lovely 22 carat ring!
