On the way home from work today decided to grab an hour with the md on a little track that runs between two fields witch Leeds from an area were there was army barracks during the war,  lots of trash and these few odd bits and bobs then just as I was going to give up out pops this royal artillery cap badge my first one as well so on looking up some info it turns out its 1WW because it has a George v crown and not the George vI crown........GET IN!!!!!

Well done on the finds but there is no difference in the crowns on badges, it's either kings or queens, the general rule of thumb (though not a guarantee) with RA badges is if the wheel turns it's  WWI but if it's all in one then it's later ;)

A nice badge. It is always nice when they come out undamaged as well.
