hi everyone,just want to know.if when beach detecting the sand gets between the coil and its cover,does it tend to play up with false signals,as its been happening with me with my sov gt.thanks for any help.is it why some peaple silicone it together

Yes it can cause problems, and easy way to check is to turn your sensitivity down, if it still does it then pop some silicon around the cover, if it stops doing it at the lower sens then it's the beach and you need to run it lower ;)

yes it does ,clean your coil often with clean water

chears lads sorted that prob out.thought my machine was playing up was doing my head in lol

it used to do my nut in when i first got my etrac lol till uncle geoff told me about it

was thinking of sending off to be looked at.was switching on and off all night thinking i was balancing wrong etc.

nothing worse than getting to the beach and your machine starts playing up >:(
