Title: Another (Ancient!) Newbie Post by: KeithM on May 12, 2013, 06:13:17 PM What ho, from North Somerset. At the young age of threescore years and eleven,I've taken up MD'ing with a Garrett Ace 250 + probe.
Have four permissions, but have'nt found much of note in the two weeks Ive had the detector - loads of nails, a donkey shoe, the back of a silver watch case and a tombac button. We have used the same machine and find them really good. You;ll get lots of advice on here and when you see that a Rally is posted perhaps join in and meet the other 'tectees personally.
