Title: Yesterdays finds with 1 for ID please
Post by: Drivertess on May 12, 2013, 08:28:39 AM
Hello,

An hour in the field yesterday I had £11.62 in modern currency including 3 £2 coins and the stuff in the pictures below including 2 brooches modern I think a 303 bullet, a 1913 halfpenny, a small button, yet another badly corroded unknown coin and the hat shaped thing, any ideas on the hat shaped thing & the badly corroded coin please?

Well if it is the same as the item on page 37,fig.9 of the June edition of treasure hunting it will be an oil ointment pot  lid and....ROMAN ;)
Hope this helps
