The Rhondda Club was invited to take part in 30 min BBC Radio Wales programme (with Melanie Doel) called Country Focus in June 2006. This programme involved metal detecting and the interest of the hobby. It included interviews with one of our members Alan Jenkins on one of our club fields in Cowbridge and an interview with Mark Lodwick (Finds Liaison Officer, National Museum of Wales) at the Ferndale Rugby Club.
