Title: Talacre 23/02 Post by: sharkey on February 23, 2013, 08:08:29 PM hi all, me and 'danhunt' went to talacre for the afternoon today. low water just after 4 so had a scan around the waters edge, but unable to find anything even though i was getting the strong bell tones (false signals maybe?). i need to experiment more to work out a good wet sand setup for the 250 ??? so we decided to head towards the drier sands by the pill box and find some bullets. plenty there for each of us, Dan also had 2 modern 2p's. was quite challenging for us, but good to get out and learn the machines a little better too.

Title: Re: Talacre 23/02 Post by: hotmill on February 24, 2013, 12:23:26 PM Need to knock the sensitivity down a couple of bars on the 250 on wet sand. Stick to damp sand and avoid very wet areas. If you upgrade to the double d coil you'll find it a heck of a lot better.
