Title: Lucky days Post by: cardiffian on February 01, 2013, 09:06:33 PM We have had the post 'Has anyone ever drawn a Blank' but what lucky days have you had not counting hoards. It may be that you have had roman, saxon and medieval silver coins in the same day. Perhaps you have had six separate hammereds in the same outing. Things along those lines.
A few years ago I was on a heavily detected club site and only dug about 8 holes in an hour and a half but had three hammereds. Last year I had similiar day but had three cracking roman brooches. without the sovereign, and actually finding the early viccy Sovereign the next day about a quarter of a mile away. Title: Re: Lucky days Post by: glynkid on February 01, 2013, 10:09:57 PM finding over thity roman coins on a site near Lincoln on one day
