Title: garrett euroce or ace 350 ? whats the difference??
Post by: welshdigger on January 31, 2013, 11:58:25 AM
a mate of mine was after a garrett euroace ...but after a bit of a look on tinternet it seems the euroace and ace 350 are near enough the same machine?
im no expert on metal detectors but the only differences i can find is 2 extra notches for iron disc , cm instead of inches ,and the ferrous / non ferrous display chart .
they recon it was setup for european ground.... but aint the ground different all over europe?
how do garrett know what the ground is like on one of my local permissions?
my old ace 250 wernt setup for european soil...... but it used to suck up coins like a hoover.

are they both the same machine just re-stickered just to get a few extra quid off us? or have garrett changed anything inside?

even all the features are exactly the same !  what you guys and gals recon??

euroace costs £279 with bag, digging tool ,coil cover, volume control headphones, dvd
ace 350 costs £290 with bag ,digging tool, coil cover, volume control headphones , dvd  AND GARRETT PROPOINTER!!

The Euroace is a European variant of the 350, as you say it has a different display and is meant to be tuned more for our irony/mineralised soils, so if you have a choice the Euroace is the one to get ;)
