Title: Any ideas on this one peeps?
Post by: herbie on December 08, 2012, 07:31:46 PM
Found this a few weeks ago, has been filled with concrete or similar at some point.
Measures 50mm x 40mm x30mm and weighs 111g
I'm wondering whether it has been used as a weight at some point.
Any ideas? :)

Hi Herbie.  I have no idea what the dickie doo these things are but have a look at the one I found. It's 110mm across and is filled with lime mortar and lead chips. I've found a few, all different diameters.
John1969 has found a similar one. These were all found in Pembrokeshire and we wondered if they were some sort of wall decoration. As yet no one has come up with a better idea.
