hi guys ive been trying to log in on my mobile for a few days now but a message
An Error Has Occurred!
and there is a box that says:- sorry troutmasterfunk, you are banned from using this forum!
i can sign in on my laptop but nothing on mobile.
hope this makes sense and someone can help me please.... ???

Sounds like we have blocked a spammers ip and that you've been affected by that. I'll see if I can sort it now. If not I'm sure Geoff can.

Try and log in again on your mobile, make a note of the time and let me know when you have done this.

No you wont have been able to but now I have the time, I have an idea.

Here you go, visit this site on your phone and it will tell you , your ip.  pm me the result fella and I will unblock it.

i sent my ip address to taff (Rob)
but still not looking good..
i can sign in(obviously) on my laptop..
bit gutted my phone either wont let me go on or my ip address blocked?

Its weird but its almost as if your phones ip is not getting as far as this sites server as there is no log appearing of it. The message on the phone - is it from this site or is it a os message from your phone?

What phone are you using? Do you get the same message using wifi and 3g ?

I couldn't see Taff's link to the IP site, but go to www.whatsmyip.org (http://www.whatsmyip.org) on the phone and check it again... 

If you connect via wifi at home the IP adress to the network will be exactly the same on the phone as it is on your laptop or home PC, (unless you are using a Fon hotspot or similar), if you turn wifi off (just to be sure) and connect via 3G, GPRS or edge it will be a completely different IP than your home network and to be honest should change reasonably regularly, probably on a daily basis if not more often, so if the DW server says "banned" even though your IP is changing from time to time, it has to be either a block ban in DW's software covering a whole range of similar IPs or a problem with your phone providers network, can you post a good photo or screengrab of what you are seeing ?  Is the error being sent from the DW server ?
