Title: Wrexham metal detecting club is alive and well Post by: dazgranfondo on September 26, 2012, 08:10:54 PM Hi, I'm Darren the pro for the club and wish to post this in order to say that the club is doing good things at the moment. Some good stuff is getting passed around at the monthly meetings. Should anyone local wish to attend, the club meet the first Wednesday of every month at Acton community centre at 730pm. Recent finds include a bronze age spear, axe head and sword. A friendly welcome assured.

Failing that, your nearest forum is detecting shropshire, digs every 2 weeks. They have members in Liverpool and Ellesmere Shrops so you're not too far out if you can travel. The Chairperson is now Vince Jones and the Secretary is Cameron Edwards. The club website is now at www.mhss.org.uk (http://www.mhss.org.uk) Meeting place remains at Mold Town Hall, Earl Road, Mold [every 2nd Friday of the month at 8.00pm]. Kind regards.
