Is Silverhand a Midlander ?

'Bist' is a Black Country term meaning a variety of shortened things.  i.e.  'ow bist yer '   How are you or How have you been.  .

I think Nobby is right. Token showing John o' Gaunt, though there are quite a few of these.

I'm a forester  bist  is local for be as in how bist ole butt  it's a sort of region language if u look on google for Harry beddington forest humour and read some of his work it's great fun to try and read thanks for I'd
