Sony  DSC-HX9V compact,   Sanyo Xacti HD2000 Video camera,   Sony A200 Digital SLR,  Minolta Dynax 5000SI, and quite a few more.

But if you want a camera that never takes a bad photo then go for a Sony DSC-HX9V.

Leica Delux-5 for detecting finds and a go-pro for vids.
My pro camera for when I'm working is the Canon 5D MarkII

Well you won't go far wrong with the D3200 as long as you get a good lens, I would recommend the 60mm Macro for it but obviously it's not much good "in the field" as you don't want to be carrying that around..
I use a Panasonic for my field shots.
A word of advice here to anyone else in the market for a camera.....Don't pixel chase! many manufacturers make high pixel (14) count for very little money but pixels don't equal quality and as has always been the case, the lens is the important part.
When I was doing photography as a living the likes of Sony, Panasonic and Samsung made stereos and kitchen equipment ;D Now they are some of the top names in camera electronics but for quality they still rely on the iconic names for their lenses;

Sony = Carl Zeiss
Panasonic = Leica
Samsung = Schneider

So if your looking at any of these makes check for the models that carry these lenses ;)

Ive always gone for Olympus Using the OM 10 and 20 for 35MM film and got some stunning shots from my band bus driving days. I use E620 as my sunday best camera and a an old u600 (6meg) as my happy snapper faithful, most of my latest field shots are taken with a very basic 2meg blackberry phone.
