Title: Detecting is a lot like fishing
Post by: mole on April 25, 2009, 03:56:26 PM
Over the years I,ve come to the conclusion that detecting and fishing have a lot in common you,ll see the experienced fisherman with more than one rod in his armoury the dedicated detectorist will have two or more detectors at the ready if your fairly new to the hobby you may question the need for more than one detector take note even though the manufacturers swear thier machines are the the dogs nuts and some of the dealers are Just as guilty in this respect NOT ONE MACHINE WILL DO IT ALL so if your buying your first machine make sure it suits your detecting needs type of sites you hunt ect if your moving up the ladder before you part wiyh your old machine bearin mind it might compliment the new machine eg  it could outperform  the new machine on some sites and visa versa the biggest bonus,of two machines you can a bigger varity sites and if you or your detecting partner suffer a breakdown you can carry on enjoying this great hobby of ours ;D ;D good hunting  ::) ::) mole
