Title: Coils; do I or don't I?
Post by: Dusty on March 10, 2012, 10:49:00 PM
Made my mind up, I'm not fond of this standard 10" coil that comes with the F5, on some soil it's pretty deep but for some reason when you hit parks and it starts hitting rubbish it's pants!

Anyway, got the chance to have a DD coil like the stock on the T2/F75 chips cheap and was wondering what would be the bare minimum gain I could expect from it. Just from reading about it does have a tendency to mess with the number, iron makes a jump from 20's to 40's not that this would make much difference I suppose.

Thought welcome please  :)

A smaller coil would without doubt bust my balls!   :'(

Just wanted something to cover a little more ground in a sweep..

Back to the drawing board....

Ah probably not worth spending money on a coil then. Another machine with better iron rejection might be an idea..  ???
