Title: 3 coins and a thimble

went to this 4 acre field that i had permission on and say gutted would not crack it. First 4 signals ointment tubes and it just continued big bits of silver foil. two buckles and only one piece of lead two buttons and they came very late, only 3 coins george coin that will clean up ok vicky penny very worn and a farthing and what looks like a squashed thimble.

that would still count as a good day for me. Last time out, apart from the tubes, I managed a squashed thimble and a tiny spectacle buckle. No coins at all.

At least you are cleaning all the rubbish out the field.  Hopefully leaving all the good stuff for next year once the field has been ploughed. I've had to go through this process myself and it does pay dividends in the long run. Best to have signals to dig than none at all. ;)
