Had a good day out ground very hard first signal of the day out popped the first hammy ids welcome thanks .

Before blowing your money on the Deus you really should have invested in a camera to photograph all the goodies your finding.

Well found. One is a cut halfpenny of Henry III, voided long cross coinage.

The other is a cut halfpenny of Henry II, Richard I, John or Henry III, short cross coinage.

Need better pictures to be able to give a more detailed ID.

Well I can tell you it was minted in London by Henri but unfortunately he minted coins under Henry II, Richard and John lol So at least we've narrowed it down by 1. I think I shall give way to the Doc's better resources on this one ;)

I don't think I can say more unfortunately - the head side is too worn to make out the necessary detail.
