Two more finds from yesterday Possible pipe tampers. Date anyone.

Sorry Paul but they look like coat pegs for hanging coats and hats on to me. The second one has got a screw thread on it where it would of screwed into a wooden surround and been wall mounted.

It's funny how these end up in fields, but I have found quite a few over the years, and I agree with Benny, as they often have an iron screw one end.

Sent them off to the FLO for recording. See what he says. I would not hang my coat on them as they are that thin I reckon they would break. The PAS database records some very similar objects so see what he says.
