Found this today while out with the DW clan and was told could possibly be part of an early roman broach ??

It looks a nice artefact Joel, difficult to be sure without seeing the front but it has the look of an Alesia brooch 43AD-100AD.

looks to thick to be a broach to me

whats the size of it?? looks more like a handle

normal size 2p. now to determine the type of brooch it was attached to. Was told at the rally possibly a La Tene ?

But a Colchester generally wouldn't have the re-curve.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D No it's the wrong shape :D The Le Tene's are grouped due to there profiles so I'm pretty sure yours is a type 1
