And being the fourth of September A SUNDAY I shall be putting my name down. Hooray  8)

Ok We now have Confirmation that the fields are now harvested. the stubble is stubble  ::)  It will be the length it will be on the 4th September. Its wheat stubble so it will vary in height across the fields. Theres been heavy rain forcast the coming week so hopefully it will be softened a bit.

The farmhouse attached to the front fields dates back to 1290 and the history of the land the farm sits on Dates back to Roman Period. In fact the farms main storage barn is sitting on top of a Roman farmstead. The farmer has allowed very very little detecting on the farm to date, but is very interested in the history of the farmhouse and surrounding fields.
