Title: FORUM NAMES of all members?
Post by: bobkoi on August 04, 2011, 05:07:11 PM
I WAS TRYING TO SEND A PM TO A DW MEMBER, AND HAD AN IDEA OF THE PERSONS FORUMS NAME, BUT I COULD NOT CORRECTLY REMEMBER. SO HOW ABOUT LISTING ALL MEMBERS FORUM NAMES. NOTHING PERSONAL OF COURSE. JUST THE NAMES SO PEOPLE CAN HAVE SOME FORM REFERENCE.

Just tried that and it doesn't work. Perhaps it used to before they changed servers.

In any case, just look at the number of members, 1300 +  Thats one long list.

When sending someone a pm if you know the 1st letter or couple of their names you can search for their name by pressing the little blue ? next to recipient for example if you wanted to send Val Beechey a pm but could not remember her name fully you could

1/ Press the little blue ?
2/ Type in Val*
3/ This would then return all the members that name begin with VAL
4/ Look for correct name and click on name . It will fill out the recipient box for you automatically.

Hope this helps, tomorrows lesson includes painting awkward landscapes and shadow.  ;D

You need to use the * as a wild card placement.
Bob will just return Bob
Bob* should return every user Begining with Bob
