Post by: mucker on July 29, 2011, 11:21:03 AM
Hi Peeps
Is it possible that someone can help with the identification of this coin please,it is silver ,thin and the size of a new one penny.
I maybe wrong, but could it possibly be a ssater or unit.

Hi Mucker, I'm afraid your pic is way too out of focus to be certain but from what I can see I would say it's either a silver Unit or Denarius....Nice hunting which ever but get a better pic up and we may be able to be sure of which one. ;)

Will be interesting to see what it looks like with better focus. And what's the other side like?

Hi Mucker. It'd be interesting to know if you found it down this neck of the woods, whatever it is.

The new pics are still not that clear, but I don't think this is going to be identifiable unfortunately.
