Title: 400 pound what metal detector

hi wanted to upgrade from the quattro as its far to heavy and slow recovery what would you reccomend i have about 400 to spend all suggestions welcome ,,its not that i wasnt hapy with quattro its great but just too heavy..

id get a safari

the quattros a great machine and i never found it that heavey easily managed 8+ hours a day with it

Simple solution = buy a bungee harness for around £20

makes my sovereign light as a feather!!

are these bungees easy to use ..

Bungees are easy to use. Belt clips around your waist and another around your shoulder. Takes seconds to put on and takes SOME of the weight of the machine.

I used one when I had an E-Trac but for me it did not take enough of the weight. I still had arm fatigue, and it still gave my bad back gyp! So in the end sold E-Trac and bought lighter machine. Other people may have had better success with them though.

F75 or T2 would be my choice if your looking or something lighter.

Yes - go for the bungee if the only issue is weight  :)

so stick with quattro and buy bungee is the quattro still rated as a good machine ...
