Title: Restoring or recycling finds
Post by: Dodger on July 14, 2011, 10:00:41 PM
Just been on the Detecting Scotland site where one of the members has posted a photo of an old carpenters screwdriver he found. He cleaned off the rust and replaced the wooden handles and now has a usable screwdriver again. Another I know of has had a coin mounted and wears it around his neck.

Has anyone else done something similar? Its okay finding something nice and putting in a box but what else has been done in this recycling age?  ??? ???
