Title: A day to forget
Post by: adesace on May 03, 2011, 08:31:25 PM
I have started a new job about 2 months ago my job is a trade plate driver. Well today I had to plate it back from junction 16 of the M5. I tried to plate for about a hour and half with no luck so I thought i would move a bit closer to the island with that I tripped over a branch fell down the bank and landed in the dried up stream.  I went to stand up and my left leg went straight into the the thick mud down to my knee so I put the other leg down and it went up to my ankle. I managed to pull my left leg out but lost my shoe in the process. I could not manage to get my shoe out so i lost that. After getting out i thought there is no way anyone is going to pick up a bloke with one shoe on , mud up to his knee's  and smelling like sewage so I decided to walk the mile or so to asda. With many a look on the way I got to Asda to be greeted with a man who looked at me if I was from another planet. I explained what happened and his reply was " You do pong a bit".I had a wash in the toilets and had to buy me new shoes, trouser, socks and t-shirt. Then i had to go back to where I had fallen to try and get home. I got home at 9pm from 5am................................
LET'S SEE WHAT TOMMORROW BRINGS.....LOL
