Title: Georgian Penny? Post by: rjm on April 02, 2011, 07:06:45 PM I found this a couople of days ago. Just cleaned it up as it was a bit of a state and it appears to have the date 1811 under the Head shown in photo. However, looking through my coins books it doesn't appear to match George 111 head, so I don't know if it's a coin from another part of UK? It's 28/29mm wide. Any ideas? Title: Re: Georgian Penny? I've been mentally affected, and I'm rebuilding my confidence by attacking by accuser.
