Post by: bymatt666 (byron) on March 28, 2011, 07:30:15 PM when i first saw this my heart jumped a mile ! a silver buckle i thought, then at lunch time most people were saying " it's saxon " because two other saxon items had been found close to where i found it. but i think it's modern, it has a moulding mark on it and it's too light to be silver..but it made my day.maybe next time.... ;)....byron....ps...in the middle at the top is the remains of whatever it was attached by.
