Title: Hi...
Post by: Johnag4004 on November 18, 2010, 02:19:03 AM
Hi all,

I just thought I'd say a quick hello, am only just starting with this , have wanted to for years but never got round to it...

I have just bought myself a Scanmaster Gold ID, not sure if they are any good, but thought it would be ok to get started...

Anyway, any and all help would be very appreciated...

John...

Hi John,

Welcome to the site buddy and to answer to your questions iwhen i started to detect not so long time ago i had a scanmaster gold id and still go it , i had some  old pennies with it , a silver ring at the beach its good to start the hobbie slowly  but if you want to start the rally i will eventually get a garrett ace 250 or above . Well hope you enjoy and loads of luck mate.

Many thanks all for the kind welcome... :)

eventually get a garrett ace 250 or above . Well hope you enjoy and loads of luck mate.

Napoleon.

I'm on a very tight budget and would love to have been able to afford a Garrett, but the Scanmaster was about the only one with a fairly decent write up I could afford...

May I ask what are the rallies please...

Many thanks again...

John...

Hi John,
Do you literaly mean 'What are rallies'  or 'When and where are rallies'

If you mean the 1st , well a rally is no more than an organised get-together of members to detect at a farm where permission has been obtained by our very kind (and hard working) Admin Team.
If you mean the 2nd, then notice of these is posted on site (right hand side, just above where you can see who's on site)  There aren't any upcoming at present.

Hope this helps. ;D

Val
