hello,
excuse me for my bad english but I am french. a member of a french metal detector forum has found a coin that is I think an english medieval penny:

could you confirm me I am right and tell me the name of the king on the coin?

Looks to be a Edward 1 penny but pics are not ideal to identify mint or moneyer  :-\
Maybe someone else on here will be able to help you more.  ;)

I think this is a Canterbury penny of Edward II. A better picture of the obverse would be helpful.
