I think it was very quiet saw two hammies come out and one guy had a cracking Denarius that was all i saw. I had 4 buttons and one broken thimble. Great location and ground conditions just very quiet, sometimes you win some times you loose. :( Title: Re: Any news from today's Brimslade Rally? It was a landscape park about 200 years ago and I would expect the then owners to have shifted some serious amounts of soil around.

Post by: bymatt666 (byron) on August 23, 2010, 08:23:04 PM the area was beautiful and there was a canal very near to the farmyard....the rally was "quiet" with not too much of note being found...one of our party found his first hammered coin...a james 1st sixpence , a couple of denarii fell to some others and the usual dross to most of us...the weather was dry+hot at least.... ;)...a report will be posted soon in the RARE section....byron
