Title: George III Sixpence
Post by: Sexy Legs (Leighton) on April 04, 2010, 04:44:06 PM
Out for a couple of hours today with Steve and Deb. Nothing much was found except my first ever, George III silver sixpence. After finding so many grotty Georgians in the past, it's nice to finally find a nice one.The scan isn't clear but it says 1816. I reckon hammereds and Romans won't be far away for me now, folks...  ;)

I've never used a Whites machine, but a lot of our members swear by them. I see you're coming to the rally Sunday. Which machine will you be using, mate?

Oh, there'll be a lot of people there with Minelabs, maybe even Sovereigns, so you should get the help you want, mate.
