Here are my best bits from last weekend. Also was pleased to bump into Jade and her lovely family and Spooyt Vane (Rob) :)

Blimey that's a good site , well done Peter, always nice to find a cut quarter you know you've got it right then, what is the one with the ship on? (4th from right at top)

I was pleased with the cut quarter, because I was using the Explorer II and I'm only just starting to make sense of it. The coin with the ship (if you mean 2nd from the right at the top) is a "Ship Penny" Nuremburg jeton like this:

The hand that I write with is my right and the one that is left is my left  ::)  ;D That's the one peter , thought it looked like a silver coin on the photo.
Explorer II hey! You will be selling the F75 then?    ;D

I thought it was silver at first, but on closer examination it is copper alloy that has been tinned or silvered. Not getting rid of the Fisher just yet ;D

It's a James II threepence. I've never seen one turn up as a detecting find before.
