Mickey :) Title: Re: WW11 weaponry Post by: Radnor Bandit (Ian) on July 17, 2009, 09:01:00 PM not yet mate but if I do will post photos (at moment all this site has produced is about 1/2 cwt of 303 ,.38 ,.45 cases and bullets + mortar fins (and 1 live phosphorus 3"). I have located at least 3 machine gun emplacements ,earth is still bare in places even after 60 years due to copper contamination.
Title: Re: WW11 weaponry Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on July 17, 2009, 09:55:39 PM phosphorous mortar are they what are called incenatary devices?
Title: Re: WW11 weaponry Post by: Radnor Bandit (Ian) on July 18, 2009, 12:50:56 AM I would think so Rob, I do know that after bomb squad blew it up, the council had to remove several square metres of top soil from the area due to contamination (and it it made a big boom and pretty bright light).
