It's always nice to have a water feature in the garden. The sound of the water tinkling in the background on a Summer day is lovely.
Be careful what you plant in it though. Don't laugh at me suggesting artificial plants! They don't grow and take over your whole world. Plus your pump will stay a bit cleaner.

;D Merci Val to be honest right now i am not sure  the  plants and other feature will go around the pond  i am thinking to add a small cascade  with some light  . Thanks Val for the comment.

I had one a little bigger many years ago. I had a little fountain at one end and coloured lights around the sides. I had 3 gold fish and a very small leaved water lily and some sort of mossy weed on the bottom for the fish to hide in.
At the time I had a Doderman/German Shepherd cross. He used to spend hours standing on the slabs watching the fish. Some watch dog ! ::)
Unfortunately the Lilly grew like a space monster a the leaves off the tree above swamped it out. Hard work cleaning even a small pond and the pump kept getting clogged up and boy did it stink  ::)
I've got a free standing, plaster, three tier water fall with mommy and two baby Otters perched on the little water pools now.
Best of luck with yours.
