Title: Mystery box Post by: wittsy1 on January 30, 2016, 11:33:14 PM I had a few hours out Thursday, came away with 3 blank discs, some buttons and some scrappies. Anyway I confined this item to my scrap pocket thinking it was just a bit of metal bar. Now, after cleaning, I am not sure what it is. There is a distinct joint and it also has traces of engraving. It measures 2" x 1". Any thoughts on what it could be.

The joint on this item is more or less halfway down the box. Don't know whether to soak it in release oil and try opening it.
