Title: Out in the mizzle yesterday
Post by: wittsy1 on December 17, 2015, 04:05:32 PM
Ventured out in the mizzle yesterday. Nothing much, but thought I would show anyway. The 2p drove me nuts, chased it round the hole for what seemed ages thinking it was something decent. Oh well give it another couple of hundred years or so and I expect it will be classed as a decent find.

Well done wittsy. I hate that Welsh mist, makes you just as wet as proper rain.

The musket balls look like Civil War size.  Nice find.

Certainly as one of the last coins that hasn't rotted away completely like the new stuff they are producing......

In a 100 years they'd probably ask 2p or not 2p that is the question
