Steve very kindly invited me out for a days detecting on one of his Roman sites,and a very nice site it was too. I had a couple of lucky finds,a very nice Republican Denarius,Bronze as,and another as yet unidetified coin (at the time we thought it might be a possible Denarius,but i think you were right Steve it's beging to look as though its not,have'nt cleaned it enough yet but will let you know when i have). It's a nice coin and great to have something in your hand that was made BC, did enjoy seeing the Red Kites and the Nuthatch too!
