I love the learning part of this hobby so would love to know what it is to see if my beginner's guess (Edward I) is even remotely close! ;D Title: Re: Hammy ID please Post by: Landyman on March 17, 2015, 07:18:41 PM Dale , Probono or Doc, probably will when they're on here. Title: Re: Hammy ID please Post by: Dale on March 17, 2015, 11:46:16 PM Landyman its either a Ed I or II there's really not much between them so I don't bother to find out which Ed it is there's so many different classes, and its not the most interesting coin to research, so I don't go into that type to much.
It says CIVI TAS in the first two quarters, the 3rd looks a little funny but ends with a N? but the 4th says DON so the only mint it can be is London ;) So its a Ed I or II London mint penny ;) Well found :) |
