Title: New from Cardiff Post by: rodmat on February 07, 2015, 02:23:09 PM Hi everybody, joined in November, but been in Australia for two months. Hence delayed introduction. I have just retired and am looking to start detecting in earnest. I have owned a detector for many years, but just have not had the time to start properly. I have a Tesoro 'Bandido' which is probably prehistoric compared to the latest generation detectors. Will upgrade after sussing out what is available out there. When is the next rally ? would love to attend.

Rallies are posted top right of home page, just keep an eye on it. Some of the older machines are just as good now as they were then so don't rush to spend your money. Quite a few member live down your end. I'm sure someone will volunteer to meet up with you and put you wise on local points of interest.
