Title: Take a look
Post by: Chef Geoff on May 27, 2009, 09:18:26 PM
The old mantra for good detecting is, "Dig everything" and in a perfect world we all would, but we soon realise just how impracticable that is due to the amount of Iron scrap there is in the soil.

Having done a lot of research on the Boudicca project, I have learned just what we could and probably are leaving in the soil, But just to heighten all our paranoia's, have a look at this......

i use the fisher 1236x2, and if there's a big chunk of iron down there the fisher will pick it up, so i have no worries on that score

Oh I think all our machines would pick it up, it's us operators that leave it undug because it's iron is the point.

same if we go on cival war battlefield
we dig the muskit balls but ignore the
