hi folks went to beach for a few hours today.had 5 silver sixpences and a 1922 silver florin.when i was cleaning my coins i noticed one stood out from the rest of pennies.its a 1791 druid token well happy with it.are they a common find or not.

I've seen a few turn up on the Forum since I joined but I wouldn't say they were common (not like Hammies  ::) )

Cheers for the id Val, I found one of them on the Wickwar rally, I thought it was a George III penny, as it was very thick and the same size as one, but after a little wire wool for inspection :o (it was naff anyway :)) it turned out to be what you have just shown........... ;) ;)
