Have fixed an old coil in the past with some stuff from a model shop, go down and ask for "milliput" it's amazing stuff, you can drill it, tap it and mould it into the shape of the broken bit so you can make a copy of the broken bit and it will attach to the old coil, or use it to re-inforce the old bit when sticking it on. It cures grey/yellow, so you will need to spray it or there is a black equivalent out there as well if you can find it.

It's 2 part epoxy putty basically.

Good luck, and if you cant get any let me know as I can get some for you.

I agree Geoff, amazing stuff, really cheap as well :)  None of our local shops stock the black stuff though :(  would have thought it would have been the more popular colour myself...

I had this message off a friend so instead me chucking my toys and hit with hammer I am going to send it off ( I have no patients) but this was message,,,,,,,If you let me have it I can cut a pvc side piece then solvent glue it all together, pvc is grey but would be the strongest way. Glue is available from diy stores type used on plastic pluming but does need the side piece to get the strongest bond.  Check other side has not cracked as well. Bit far to pop it down to Newport to get it done?

Went down to Southerndown beach, below the car park today,(crossing over the rocks).(11th of April).
While detecting I lost the   "j" strut   from my pro swing 45 harness.
probably somewhere between the rocks.
If anybody finds it ,I will offer a reward for its return.
