Ok, a new farm for us in a very good historical area. Available will be a mixture of pasture and stubble. Good parking and toilets are available.

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally and the rally fee is £7.00 as normal.

Hi how many acres is this, and is it all undetected.

Its a pick of 250 acres and farmer informs me that it has been detected on in the past so , no it is not undetected,

Items will always be missed !! even after DW's rally :) looking forward to this one, Wrington looks to have a good bit of history.

Very true Dale, DW have held 4 rallies on a farm near Highbridge which consists of just 4 large fields, the second rally was pants due to two fields being underwater but on the other three rallies we have come away with close on 30 hammies each time ;)

Apologies but twelth hour comfirmation our own Brecon searchers have a rally sun, and I am travelling to same area as  DW  to detect on Mon, whilst dog is in Langford vets. Mrs not too happy if I am away whole weekend detectin. ::)

Its indeed a very good roman area, a coin hoard roman was found not to far away in 1984 (1000 + coins )  from where you all are detecting !

Look forward to seeing some good roman finds.

Yes that was me, you wont buy mushrooms like those in your local supermarket, I picked about a dozen, and ate 3 tonight, they were  superb, you cannot beat fresh field mushrooms, and they were free ! lol... 

Was a good day. My first rally. Was good to meet those I spoke to.

I was chuffed with my shilling 1883 and finally a cannon. Been after one forever.

Damn I meant to get a piccy of that cannon, hope you'll post a piccy of it...  Still on my wanted list...

Thanks a billion to the organisers, this was a wonderful day out. A little drizzle to start the day off and then beautiful blue sky and my first 1600'ish buckle, button and victorian furniture bling. Well chuffed  ;D
Would be great if we could go back and detect on this farm again some time  :)
