Going on what I can see, the obverse will probably reading " DNCRISPONOBCAES" . (providing my eye sight isn't playing tricks) I'm going to say Crispus. 317 - 326 A.D :)

Any chance of a full picture of the Roman coin and a picture of the reverse?

Edit...just been sat in my garden (in the contemplation zone) and I'm sticking with the "Crispmeister" as we used to say  ;D

Thanks Wayno, I've always been a bit of a sucker for Roman reverses...I might grow out of it one day :D

*Edit* "Roman reverses".  ;D :D...Hmm that dosent sound great does it? I'll rephrase that...Ive always liked the designs on the back of Roman coins....:)

I gave the coin to a friend of mine who is just starting this hobby to give him a head start. as soon as i get it front of me again i will take more photos.
