Title: U.S. Army dog tags.
Post by: cardiffian on August 26, 2012, 08:13:00 PM
Has anyone found and researched WW11 U.S Army dog tags. I found one a couple of years ago and would very much like to get back to the family concerned. If anyone has experience of doing so advice would be much appreciated

Hi Alan,

a member of our club has just that experience.  American dog tags as well.  Head over to our site and register on the forum.  Post the same request there and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to help you.

Hope this helps

A member of the swansea forum has recovered some american dog tags and in the process of sending them over to the decendants of who they belonged to. Theres a MD club in Virginia that found all the info and who they belonged to.

Try these guys http://www.virginiahistoryclub.com/ (http://www.virginiahistoryclub.com/)
