Title: Old Battery ?
Post by: leytijenks on July 29, 2012, 06:52:16 PM
Found a couple of these today. They look like some sort of battery but  I cant seem to find out much about them on the web and wondered if anyone on here had seen something like it.

It has "Oldham" on it and "acid level"

Yes they are from old glass cell type battery 1920's-40's I have found a couple in the past in old bottle dumps. Ive seen 2 types Thin like yours and a square one ( which holds about a pint) and great for using as a vase or real mans beer glass- obviously after a good wash.
nice unusual find
