He was the guy responible for the repairs that went through the Minelab Service and Repair centre (MSR) in Surrey. He has since gone independant and specialises in out of warranty repairs on a range of Minelab detectors. He now operates under MSR (Metaldetect Service & Repair) and they are the only ones that produce a replacement keypad for the Explorer now that Minelab have stopped doing so. When I needed mine replaced recently it was Minelab themselves who put me in touch with him.
